Analogy to a Driving Licence

Driving Licence

The driving licence proves, in an easily understandable and manageable form, the right to drive a vehicle of a certain class. However, it does not justify this right.

Anyone who does not have a valid driving licence is not allowed to drive a vehicle.

In order to obtain a valid driving licence, you must learn how to drive the vehicle in question and pass a test. The driving licence will only remain valid if the legal regulations are complied with at all times.

In the event of serious violations (e.g. drink driving), the right to drive is revoked. During checks, the revoked (invalid) driving licence can no longer be presented, which means that it is no longer possible to drive the vehicle.

The driving licence therefore allows for easy verification of the right to drive, including the vehicle classes for which the authorisation applies.
